Contracts) Business Partner
to join our dynamic team onsite at Curragh Mine. This is a pivotal role that will see you partnering with internal stakeholders to manage contracts effectively, ensuring they align with operational goals and deliver optimal value for the business.
In this role, you will drive change and influence and:
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, performance monitoring, and renewal.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and contractors to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Provide strategic advice on contractual risks, opportunities, and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure contracts are fit for purpose and meet operational requirements.
- Lead contract reviews and audits to maintain performance standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Support cost control measures by driving efficiency and value through supplier relationships.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the mining, energy, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong understanding of commercial and legal principles related to contracts.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and delivering value.
- High-level organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
