Our Client is an established underground hard rock mining operations producing base metals (polymetallic deposits). Renowned  for their usage of advanced fleet of cutting-edge autonomous mining/drilling technology, they maintain a strong focus on productivity, safety, and a positive team culture. They are currently seeking an experienced Underground Charge Up Operator, holding a valid Blasting User Explosives (BUEL) ticket, to join their team in the Far Central West region of NSW.

The roster is 7 and 7 off, Days and Nights rotating shift roster and a 12 per day working hours. Flexible working options as  residential-live-in NSW based, DIDO from surrounding areas and/or Fly-In-Fly Out from Sydney to Point of Hire.

Requirements:

The role involves charge up activities in both underground mining development and production environments, including the safe preparation, handling, and detonation of explosives in accordance with site procedures and legislative requirements.

You are also required to carry out and:

· Handling explosives storage and transport underground.

· Charging development faces and production stopes.

· Achieve production targets through the safe and efficient application of explosive blasting delivering

ore form suitable for bogging and aligned with production objectives.

· Accurately complete charge up records and reports

· Strictly adhere to safety, environmental, and operational procedures and regs.

· Engaging in problem solving and work closely with a tight knit crew of jumbo and long-hole operators.

About You:

· Hold a current NSW BUEL ticket (Blasting User Explosives Licence)

· Dangerous Goods Security Clearance

· NSW Work Safely at Heights Certificate

· Previous experience in underground charge up, ideally across both development faces

and production stopes.
