Job Brief

Are you a budding creative with a keen eye for what makes content pop on social media? Komodo, a dynamic creative agency specialising in content creation and influencer marketing, is looking for a Social Media Content Creator Intern to join our team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, working alongside our talented social content lead to produce engaging visuals for both Komodo and our diverse client base.

We're seeking someone who can commit a couple of days a week to come into our agency, ready to shoot, edit, and bring fresh ideas to life. If you're passionate about trending content, love telling stories visually, and are eager to learn from the best, then we want to hear from you

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    Assist in developing and producing captivating social media content, including Reels, TikTok videos, and other formats, that aligns with our clients' brand identities and marketing objectives.
  • Shooting & Editing:
    Capture high-quality video and photo content, and then bring it to life through proficient editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Trend Spotting:
    Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends, sounds, and platforms, ensuring our content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Creative Input:
    Contribute to brainstorming sessions and the creative direction of photo/video shoots.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with our social content lead, creative team, designers, and copywriters to bring your ideas to life and deliver exceptional result.

What We' Looking For

  • Creative Flair:
    A strong creative mindset with the ability to generate unique and engaging content ideas.
  • Technical Know-How:
    Basic proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Capcut, TikTok, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
  • Social Media Savvy:
    A good understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, and what performs well on them.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different brand styles and guidelines.
  • Portfolio:
    A portfolio (even if it's personal projects or student work) demonstrating your interest and skills in social media content creation, video editing, and photography.
