This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive mental health team in a senior capacity. Based at the Mental Health Centre within a major hospital, you'll work in the Older Persons Mental Health Unit, delivering specialist psychiatric care across both acute inpatient and community settings.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of older persons' mental health services. You'll mentor junior medical staff, drive service development, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert psychiatric care to older persons in inpatient and community settings
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to medical staff
  • Contribute to service development and innovation
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals and external stakeholders
  • Engage in clinical governance, education, and quality improvement initiatives
