Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to help them improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. Your expertise in assessing and implementing therapeutic interventions will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate client physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
Develop individualised therapy plans based on client assessments.
Educate clients and their families on techniques and strategies to promote independence.
Document and maintain accurate client records and progress notes.
Stay updated with the latest industry practices and treatment techniques.
Work with and guide Allied Health Assistants to help you with your case list.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist in NSW.
Current Driver's license with a reliable safe vehicle and comprehensive insurance (work-related KM's are payable within payroll).
First Aid and CPR Registration
Current Working With Children's Check
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving clients' well-being.
