ROC Communications is one of Sydney's most successful and growing telecommunications & civil infrastructure companies. We deliver communications infrastructure to a diverse range of clients including local councils, medium and large civil infrastructure projects and the top tier Telco asset owners.

We are looking for a Fibre Technician with strong experience in a broad range of work associated with Infrastructure builds, and Carrier networks, to join our team in NSW.

The successful Technician must be able to organise and complete projects independently, and also work as part of a larger team.

ROC is looking for a Technician that can confidently complete the following tasks: -

  • Prep and splice various cable sizes within a carrier network
  • Carry out works in various enclosure types, internal and external
  • Testing, using both OTDR and Power Meters
  • Produce test results in workbooks
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Competent computer skills
  • Some experience in installation of internal conduit and mounting cabinets, and equipment would be an advantage
  • A strong sense of WHS and quality processes are imperative

We also offer additional incentives for infrastructure project works, and On-call support. Open cabling license with Fibre endorsements preferable.
