About the role

We're seeking a Rewards Marketing Automation Specialist to help deliver on Transurban's digital-first, customer-obsessed strategy. As part of the Marketing Automation Stream, you'll play a key role in reimagining customer experiences and uplifting business processes to create better outcomes.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on campaign execution, journey design, and marketing automation across channels including eDM, SMS, Push and more. You'll work closely with stakeholders to bring data-led, customer-centric communications to life using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This is a fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent.

As our Rewards Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll contribute to meaningful, challenging, and exciting work that shapes how we engage with our customers.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Gather requirements, design and build campaigns, then test and deploy
  • Design and document automation and customer journeys

• Identify opportunities for optimisation, learning and automation

• Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools—Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages, Automation Studio  

• Prepare and present campaign packs outlining design, audience strategy, results and recommendations

• Develop A/B test strategies where applicable

• Contribute to cross-functional squads, guiding what's possible in the platform and helping shape seamless customer experiences

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio and/or Journey Builder

• Knowledge of building complex, multi-stage journeys and automations

• Critical thinking and business acumen to design effective solutions
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to challenge the status quo and problem-solve using technical expertise

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience or understanding of Agile-inspired ways of working
  • High attention to detail and a love of creative problem-solving
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are a bonus
