About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Administration Geologist to assist our team with administrative tasks for our exploration projects located north of Southern Cross, WA. The role is based at our Perth Office, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time work for the right candidate. Candidates with experience in gold exploration will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Principal Geologist, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised and focused on delivering quality outputs. Working with external consultants and our internal team both onsite and in Perth, the role encompasses tenement management, database interrogation, and drafting/GIS tasks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a friendly team to build Golden Horse into WA's next gold development story.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Tenement Management: Compiling and reporting to ensure that tenement conditions are met including Annual Reports and Form 5's
  • Data Management: Close liaison with external database consultants, along with external data sources to build Golden Horse's exploration database
  • Geological Excellence: Maintaining high standards for data capture, ensuring that safety and quality is prioritised
  • GIS / Drafting: With guidance from the technical team, creating and managing diagrams for reporting purposes
  • Collaboration: Working closely with our Perth team, site exploration staff and external consultants on a daily basis to ensure high quality deliverables

About You

  • Degree in Geology preferred, or extensive industry experience
  • Experience in exploration and tenement management processes
  • High level of competence in GIS and MS Office packages
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with industry standards and the JORC Code, and its application in exploration best practice
