- 2+ years of experience in a similar role with a track record of success
- Tertiary qualifications in law / economics / public policy / politics or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and research skills, with great attention to detail
- The ability to manage complex issues and exercise sound judgement
- The capacity to work in a high-pressure, changing environment under tight deadlines
- Understanding of the political landscape, parliamentary process and the regulatory environment
- Interest in and some knowledge of air transport and tourism sectors (desirable)
