Restaurant Manager – Benzina Cantina (Preston, VIC)

About Us:

Benzina Cantina is a vibrant, fast-paced restaurant and bar located in the heart of Preston. We're known for our creative cocktails, great food, and lively rooftop and courtyard spaces. We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our team and help deliver an outstanding guest experience every shift.

About the Role:

As Restaurant Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, lead the front-of-house team, and ensure smooth service across the bar and dining areas. You'll bring strong product knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily service and ensure exceptional customer experience
  • Oversee cocktail and alcohol stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
  • Support bar and floor staff with product knowledge and service standards
  • Monitor staff performance and assist with training and rostering
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and energetic working environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant or bar management role
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
  • Confident managing stock and supplier relationships
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills
  • Must live locally or be able to travel easily to Preston for shifts
