In this critical role, you will contribute to strategy and sector configuration, assist with the management and oversight of HESTA's multi-manager defensive assets investment program, interacting with the fascinating world of global fixed income fund management, ultimately seeking great returns for our members. 
 
The role involves partnering with some of the world's best global debt and alternative credit managers, where you will conduct fund manager research and selection and assist with fund manager appointment, termination and transition process. You will contribute ideas in formulating asset class investment strategies and play a key role in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders, including the HESTA Investment Committee.
 
About you
 
With a passion for fixed income investments you have been developing your investment experience in an Investment Bank, Asset Consultant, Rating Agency, Fund Manager or Superannuation Fund. 

Key to success in this role is some experience with with financial modelling, investment analytics and fundamental credit research. Additionally, you will ideally have some experience in analysing fund managers, portfolios and knowledge of multi-manager strategy formulation and processes required to manage transaction due diligence and investment implementation.
