Job Description

Epworth HealthCare is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Grade 2 Occupational Therapists to join our weekday casual pool, supporting our Acute Occupational Therapy teams across Epworth Richmond and Epworth Freemasons.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly across a diverse range of acute clinical areas, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a dynamic hospital environment. You'll be part of a supportive team and gain exposure to a broad caseload, including surgical, medical, orthopaedic, and neurological presentations. We're looking for Occupational Therapists who are adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference in acute care.

You will make an impact by:

  • Working closely alongside the interdisciplinary team on the ward/s
  • Providing clinical care based on best available evidence
  • Having well-developed organisational and planning skills
  • Being able to interact and collaborate with all members of a multidisciplinary team

To be successful in this role you:

  • Be available for both short and longer periods of leave coverage during the working week
  • Be proficient in assessment, management, and discharge planning of patients across a range of clinical areas
  • Demonstrate accountability with a strong, supportive and engaging communication style
  • Relevant hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapist registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
