Your Team

The CFS Investment team is part of CFS's Superannuation & Investments business unit. The Investment team is responsible for setting the investment strategy and portfolio positioning for CFS, which includes managing our market-leading and award-winning investment options. The team also manages the investment relationships and investment management agreements with a broad range of local and international investment management partners.

Your Responsibilities

The Multi-Asset Investment Specialist reports to Head of Investments and is the primary conduit between the CFS Investment team and multiple key stakeholders to optimise the delivery of our investment capability to the end customer.

Key responsibilities include:

Client and Advisor Engagement

Aligning the Investment team with distribution channels, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to develop a client service model, and integrating customer feedback into product improvement and development.

Team Engagement

Developing collateral to ensure our complex investment strategies can be clearly communicated to internal and external stakeholders.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Conducting thorough research to understand industry trends in multi-asset investing.
    Identifying areas for improvement in our current product suite or the development of emerging opportunities.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, research houses, external partners, and industry professionals.
  • Effectively communicating investment strategies, performance updates, and other relevant information to stakeholders, both internal and external.
    Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to address investor inquiries, provide regular reporting, and ensure client satisfaction.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure full awareness and compliance with all applicable financial regulations.

Your Capability and Experience

  • Experience in investment products and/or investment sales, preferably with knowledge of multi-asset portfolios and an understanding of asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction techniques.
  • Understanding of the multiple sales channels in the domestic markets, and the key servicing and product requirements suitable for each.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with APRA, ASIC and AFSL regulatory frameworks.
    Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
