Associate Product Owner

Position: Associate product owner

The role is responsible for designing, planning, managing, supporting mainly the APP development and liaison with in1bank's external systems and 3rd Party providers.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding, following, and supporting all bank policies, procedures.
  • Participating in Customer Success activities.
  • Defining and communicating the product vision to the development team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, which includes user stories, features, and tasks that need to be completed.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, gathering requirements, managing expectations, and providing updates on product progress.
  • Collaborate with the development team during sprint planning to ensure that the most valuable items are selected for development.
  • Develop clear acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure that the team understands the requirements.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities and inform product strategy.
  • Evaluate the work output against the desired goals and user requirements, accepting or rejecting work results as necessary.
  • Manage the quality of product releases through ensuring adequate product testing.
  • Testing activities include writing test plans, executing tests, regression testing, performance testing, sprint testing.
  • Second level support and administration for KYC and KYB systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Very detailed-oriented and highly organised.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts between business and technical groups.
  • Experience in software development, business analysis, and system lifecycle development is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, with limited supervision
  • A good understanding of backlog management practices and experience using various backlog management tools.
  • Ability to "think out of the box" and develop creative solutions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical & business skills to extract implicit, unstated, and unrecognised requirements.
