Hotel Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Casual Hotel Receptionist to join our friendly front office team at Peppers Docklands in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is keen to grow within the hospitality industry.

• Location: 679 La Trobe Street, Docklands 3008, VIC - Peppers Docklands Hotel

• Greet guests warmly and professionally on arrival and departure

• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations using the hotel PMS (Opera Cloud)

• Answer guest inquiries and provide local recommendations

• Handle phone calls, emails, and booking requests

• Process payments and maintain accurate records

• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments as needed

• Friendly, well-presented, and customer-service focused

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer skills; experience with hotel PMS (e.g., Opera Cloud, Newbook) is a bonus

• Previous experience in hospitality or reception is desirable but not essential

• Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays
