About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchenhand to join our team at Lakeside Cafe at the University of Queensland Campus in St Lucia QLD 4067. This is a casual position where you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist the kitchen staff in Vietnamese food preparation, cooking duties & working on the grill
- Ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment by cleaning and maintaining equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Restock and rotate kitchen supplies as needed
- Provide support to the kitchen team as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a Vietnamese kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skillS
