We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with particular experience in Security Incident and Vulnerability Response to join Kinetic IT's national Service Automation Practice – this is a key role in delivering successful Security and Risk solutions that enhance our customers' operational efficiency and cyber resilience with ServiceNow.
Collaborating with other technical experts to lead complex implementations and integrations, you will apply your specialist skills primarily to Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR), as well as the wider development areas of the ServiceNow platform.
This is a permanent, full-time position - we are happy to accept applications from candidates based anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, configuration, and implementation of solutions focused on Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR) within ServiceNow.
- Manage enhancements to existing security modules and oversee platform upgrades, updates, and patching, with a security lens.
- Implement and integrate complex customer security and risk requirements into effective technical solutions using our business standards and methodologies.
- Lead customer-facing workshops to facilitate project scoping for security-focused ServiceNow engagements.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to other developers, including conducting comprehensive system, functional, and automated testing.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hold current Australian Citizenship, with ability to gain required federal government security clearances.
- Deep, proven experience with configuration and development within ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), specifically Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR).
- Possess a micro-certification in CIS-Vulnerability Response (VR) or CIS-Security Incident Response (SIR) and/or have a deep, demonstrable understanding of these areas.
- Relevant certifications, such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with security and technical stakeholders.
