Flood Studio is Australia's leading architectural visualisation, film and animation company. We are now interviewing 3D Artist's of all levels for our recently restructured, under new management Gold Coast studio, who is energetic and eager to grow and learn amongst a creative and highly skilled team.

The artists at Flood Studio form a central part of the creative process in projects all over the world. You will be working autonomously as well as alongside a larger creative team to form award winning outcomes. THE ROLE

As a 3D Artist you will oversee:

• 3D modeling, texturing and lighting of a range of objects spaces and environments.
• Working from a range of analogue and digital reference material. Operate high-end software (such as 3DSMax, VRAY and Adobe Photoshop) to produce premium marketing images.
• Research and development from project inception to create designs and solutions to obtain quality outcomes for clients.
• Photograph as required. May include but is not limited to project recces, texture production, site views, and render backgrounds.
• Work within a team to produce 3D modelled renders, montages, and animations.
• Creative and technical skill sharing, mentoring, and training of other staff including junior staff within the company.
• Manage and deliver projects in assigned timeframes.
• Troubleshoot and communicate with Directors/Senior staff where and when problems occur.
• File bitmaps, material libraries, render settings, prototype model and photography elements developed with projects for future reference upon completion of jobs.
• Flood Studio delivers a wide array of high-end services – Rendering, Photography, Animation, Photographic Montage, Post Production, Film Production – offering scope for highly skilled 3D artists to advance careers and add variety to folios.REQUIREMENTS

• 3D modelling & rendering skills and proficiency in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop required

• Knowledge of VRAY is a plus

• Ability to work within a team
• At least 2 years of work experience in the position or highly related field

• Architectural background or knowledge is helpful, as is the ability to understand architectural drawings. Architectural, Interior Design and Design graduates are encouraged to applyWHAT WE OFFER Friendly and upbeat culture in our close-knit team
