About Us

Vassallo Constructions is a family focused, civils business that has been operating and growing successfully in Central Queensland since 1997, undertaking a variety of project types and individual contracts up to $50M. We employ a multi-skilled workforce of plant operators, pipelayers, concretors and labourers.

We are seeking skilled and experienced construction workers and operators to fill the following positions for a long-term project located approximately two hours south of Mackay. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a renewable's energy project.

Roles Available:

· Civil Construction Workers

· Excavator Operators

· Grader Operators

· Roller Operators

· Water Cart Operators

· Truck Drivers (HR & HC)

About the opportunity

· Drive in, drive out positions

· Monday to Friday roster (Be home every weekend)

· Meals and accommodation provided whilst on site

· Paid travel

· The roles require excellent communication and teamwork skills, great attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions well

Qualifications and Experience required

· Current Driver's Licence

· Construction White/Blue Card

· Previous experience in Civil Construction Works

· Civil Plant Operators: Hold Relevant Tickets / Certificates of Competency to operate relevant mobile plant

· Truck Drivers and Water Cart: HR and or HC Licence.
