Quality Management Systems Coordinator – Orchard Hills Project Office – SSTOM Project
About Us:
The Parklife Metro consortium, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney's most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line.
Our consortium—featuring Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild—is delivering this once-in-a-generation project under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), combining world-class expertise and innovation to build a future-ready rail system that will support the region's growth for decades to come.
About the Role:
Employed by Webuild, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Quality Management Systems (QMS) Coordinator to join our team at the Orchard Hills Project Office.
This role is central to ensuring that project-wide quality management systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. The successful candidate will work closely with project leadership, engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure quality systems are aligned with ISO standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the project's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support compliance with ISO 9001 and project-specific quality requirements.
- Manage controlled documents, including procedures, work instructions, and forms, ensuring current versions are readily accessible.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and conducting internal audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain registers of non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions, and track close-out progress.
- Support the preparation and coordination of management reviews and external audits.
- Provide QMS training, guidance, and support to project personnel and subcontractors.
- Assist with quality reporting and data analysis to monitor performance and highlight trends.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment on quality management matters.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications in Quality Management, Business Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in a quality systems, coordination, or compliance role within construction, infrastructure, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles.
- Experience managing controlled documents and supporting internal/external audit processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Prior experience on major infrastructure or rail projects will be highly regarded.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of the SSTOM Project – a landmark rail infrastructure initiative for Western Sydney.
- Work in a collaborative and quality-driven team environment where your contributions directly impact project success.
- Gain valuable experience working with large-scale systems on a high-profile project.
- Contribute to building a future-ready transport network that will benefit Western Sydney for generations.
