About the role

HC Power is seeking a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Tuggerah. This is a full-time role where you'll gain hands-on experience working in the renewable energy industry, focusing on solar and battery systems. You'll be learning from qualified electricians while completing your apprenticeship pathway to become fully licensed.

What you'll be doing
  • Assisting with the installation of solar PV systems, batteries, and energy management solutions
  • Learning to read and interpret wiring diagrams, solar layouts, and technical manuals
  • Developing skills in fault finding, testing, and commissioning solar and battery systems
  • Participating in on-the-job training and your formal education requirements
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
  • Following all electrical safety standards and company procedures
