This is an excellent opportunity to join the vibrant and growing team at PKF Adelaide as a Practice Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the practice, and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm. Based in the heart of Adelaide's CBD, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and enhancing the overall client experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage all administrative and operational aspects of the practice, including financial management, human resources, and IT infrastructure
2. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
3. Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives to drive the growth and success of the practice
4. Liaise with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to identify and address their needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery
5. Oversee the practice's compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and PKF Global/Australia standards and policies
6. Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and business development activities
7. Support the management of the practice's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

What we're looking for

1. CA qualified (or equivalent)
2. Extensive experience (5+ years) in a practice management or senior business administration role
3. Strong understanding of the accounting industry, including relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
4. Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
5. Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
6. Proficient in using accounting software, office productivity tools, and other relevant technology
7. Proficiency across multiple accounting software platforms is required
8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions
9. A commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining a high level of professionalism
10. Key responsibilities include compliance monitoring, operations management, and staff management
