This is an excellent opportunity to join the vibrant and growing team at PKF Adelaide as a Practice Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the practice, and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm. Based in the heart of Adelaide's CBD, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and enhancing the overall client experience.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all administrative and operational aspects of the practice, including financial management, human resources, and IT infrastructure
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives to drive the growth and success of the practice
- Liaise with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to identify and address their needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Oversee the practice's compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and PKF Global/Australia standards and policies
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and business development activities
- Support the management of the practice's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
What we're looking for
- CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a practice management or senior business administration role
- Strong understanding of the accounting industry, including relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Proficient in using accounting software, office productivity tools, and other relevant technology
- Proficiency across multiple accounting software platforms is required
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions
- A commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Key responsibilities include compliance monitoring, operations management, and staff management
