About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist of all levels of experience to join our team at Building Blocks Therapy  therapy team. All levels welcomed including those transitioning from other fields of Occupational Therapy. As part of our close-knit, family-oriented clinic, you'll be supported with tailored supervision and development that suits your learning style. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference by contributing to our culture of continuous improvement, helping us evolve the services we provide to children and families in our community.

  • Workshops: Deliver valuable knowledge to parents, schools, and early childhood centers, adapting topics to meet current needs.
  • School & Kinder Inclusion: Contribute to creating inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.
  • Assessments: Provide thorough, evidence-based assessments to guide tailored therapy interventions.
  • Playgroups: Facilitate engaging play-based learning experiences for children while fostering connections between families.
  • Networking & Parent Workshops: Lead workshops like Tuning into Kids and Circle of Security to help families build healthy, positive relationships.
  • New Initiatives: Be a part of upcoming projects such as infant, adolescent, and young adult-specific therapy programs.
  • Assistive Technology: Supporting prescription of equipment to help children access and participate in all activities

About You

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
  • A current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • OT Australia & AHPRA registration or professional membership
  • Personal Indemnity & Liability Insurance
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Stellar communication skills that allow you to connect deeply with children, families, teachers, and colleagues
  • Independent management of a caseload
