Our payroll team is looking for a Payroll Officer with working knowledge of Chris21 to join our growing team. This role is hybrid and will be based in our Broadmeadows office and is eligible for RDOs.
What you'll be doing:
- Code & input timesheets and attendance sheets in preparation for processing.
- Ensure all attendance sheets have been received.
- Ensure all pay run input is accurate, balances with batch headers and is completed within payroll time frames.
- Manage production and distribution of pay envelopes and attachments.
- Undertake import of time & attendance files into Chris21 when required.
- Assist with employee master file changes for general employee information.
- Undertake updating of employee personal details, employee personal deductions/superannuation/allowances
- Check and input all new employee information
- Setup Employees on Vision Super website for "Choice of Funds".
- Ensure the accurate filing of maintenance and personnel records relating to salary rates, Long Service Leave, Annual Leave, Sick Leave, deductions and other payroll related information.
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the CHRIS21 payroll system highly preferred.
- Be able to assist in the payroll production by receiving, checking and calculating employee timesheets, check input data and pre-payroll reports.
- Carry out customer service enquiries in a timely and efficient manner and ensure external organisations requests are dealt with promptly and courteously.
- Ensure that the maintenance and updating of all personnel records relating to salary rates, Long Service Leave, Annual Leave, Sick Leave deductions and other payroll related information is carried out in a timely and efficient manner to the satisfaction of the Coordinator Payroll.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of a PC, including skills in word processing, spread sheeting and email applications, and the management of one's own time to achieve set objectives and completion of tasks in a timely manner.
- Proven track record of maintaining focus and achieving objectives in time-sensitive conditions.
