What You'll Do

  • Refurbish and repaint schools, housing, and health facilities.
  • Restore heritage buildings and modernise community spaces.
  • Support apprentices and pass on your trade knowledge.
  • Be part of emergency response efforts when the community needs you most.
  • Work with government partners to grow QBuild's services in the region.

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (qualified trades only).
  • Pride in quality workmanship and safety.
  • Experience in surface preparation, finishing techniques, and coatings.
  • Willingness to embrace digital tools (yes, even painters check emails).
  • Passion for mentoring the next generation of painters.

What We Offer

  • Salary range: $76,106 – $99,787 per year
  • 9‑day fortnight – more long weekends to enjoy the tropics
