NQ Commercial Finishes, a leading provider of high-quality heavy machinery spray painting, is seeking a motivated Junior Labourer / Apprentice Spray Painter to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring individual to kickstart their career in the automotive trades industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting senior spray painters with daily tasks and operations
  2. Learning the techniques and processes of professional spray painting
  3. Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning
  4. Mixing and applying paints, lacquers, and other finishes
  5. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  6. Adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  1. Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the automotive trades industry
  2. Basic knowledge or experience in automotive spray painting or a related field
  3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  4. Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely
  5. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks
  6. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
