WISE Employment is excited to be expanding our team under the new Inclusive Employment Australia (formerly Disability Employment Services) contract, which will see new WISE Employment sites opening across Queensland.

We are seeking compassionate, empathetic and results-driven individuals who want to help make a difference in the community by empowering others to reach their potential through employment opportunities.

At WISE Employment, our Job Coaches play an integral part in shaping the employment landscape for people living with disability. Please note: there is an expectation of working at outreach sites associated with each office.

To be considered, you must:

  • Have full Australian working rights
  • Hold a full Australian driver's license
  • Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
  • Be able to pass a Working with Children Check

A day in a Job Coach role involves…

  • Developing strong rapport to understand your participants' needs, interests, skills and experience
  • Assisting with participants' resumes, job applications and interview preparation
  • Identifying and assessing barriers towards employment and creating solutions to support them at work and ongoing
  • Creating job plans with our participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employment
  • Increasing our participants' employability through training and other support services
  • Sourcing employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies
    Building and maintaining relationships with potential employers and community organisations
