About the Role

The Junior Contract Administrator provides administrative and project support to the construction team, assisting with documentation, procurement, coordination, and communication between internal departments, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Project Administration

  • Prepare, issue, and track project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, RFIs, variations, and progress claims.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and filing systems.
  • Support the preparation of project reports, meeting minutes, and schedules.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are achieved.

Procurement & Finance Support

  • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes.
  • Prepare purchase orders and assist with invoice processing and coding.
  • Track and update cost reports and budgets under the guidance of senior staff.

Site & Team Coordination

  • Liaise with site supervisors, trades, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries, site access, and documentation.
  • Manage compliance documentation including insurances, SWMS, inductions, and safety paperwork.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team.

Communication & Client Support

  • Respond to queries from subcontractors and suppliers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with client correspondence and maintain communication logs.

Social Media & Marketing Support

  • Create engaging posts, stories, and videos showcasing our projects and team.
  • Capture and curate content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain brand consistency in tone and presentation across platforms.
  • Schedule and publish posts, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to align messaging and campaigns.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management (or working towards).
  • Previous administrative or support experience (construction experience highly regarded).
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
