About the role

UltraTune Fyshwick is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Qualified Automotive Technician to join our team in Fyshwick, ACT. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  2. Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks on vehicles.
  3. Performing complex repairs and replacements of mechanical and electrical vehicle components.
  4. Providing customers with clear explanations of work completed and offering additional recommendations.
  5. Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken.
  6. Ensuring a safe and organised work environment.

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified automotive technician with a relevant trade certificate or diploma.
  2. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the automotive industry. But every other background will be considered.
  3. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a qualified automotive technician.
  4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  6. Good customer service orientation and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  8. Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  9. Valid Australian work authorisation or visa required.
