Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Neurodiverse Playhouse Full time $66,142 - $138,494 per year

Psychologist – Neurodiverse Playhouse (Queens Road, Melbourne)

Neurodiverse Therapy Redefined

Full time or Part Time

Are you a psychologist who loves working with children in a playful, child-led, and innovative environment? Neurodiverse Playhouse in Melbourne is on a mission to redefine neurodiverse therapy, and we're looking for a passionate Psychologist to join our vibrant, multidisciplinary team.

About Us

At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we believe children thrive when therapy is fun, empowering, and tailored to their individual needs. Our programs are child-led, play-based, and designed to build confidence, social skills, emotional regulation, and executive functioning — all while celebrating each child's unique neurodiverse strengths.

About the Role

You will work directly with children and families to provide assessment, therapy, and guidance, collaborating closely with our OTs, exercise physiologists, and speech pathologists. This role is for someone who wants to make therapy exciting, meaningful, and effective — all within a safe, playful, and nurturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Deliver child-led, play-based therapy tailored to neurodiverse children.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support.
  • Guide families with practical strategies to support children at home and school.
  • Maintain professional records and ensure best practice standards are met.
  • Help shape programs that embody our "Neurodiverse Therapy Redefined" philosophy.

About You

  • Registered Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Experience with children, preferably in neurodevelopmental or allied health settings.
  • Passionate about play-based, child-centered therapy.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator.
  • Excited to work in a dynamic, creative, and inclusive environment.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a team redefining how therapy looks and feels for neurodiverse children.
  • Work in a fun, playful, and supportive environment in the heart of Melbourne (Queens Road).
  • Flexible hours with part-time or full-time options.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Make a real difference in children's lives every day.

If you're ready to bring your creativity, expertise, and heart to a role that truly matters, we want to hear from you.
