Aura Assist is a registered NDIS provider committed to empowering people with disabilities to live with confidence, connection, and independence. We're currently looking for a compassionate, proactive support worker to assist a client in the Mt Druitt area.

About the Role:
We're seeking a support worker to assist a client living with mental health challenges who is looking to build confidence, re-engage with the community, and work on daily living goals. You'll be someone calm, supportive, and proactive with the emotional intelligence to build trust and help create safe, empowering routines.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support with personal care and day-to-day routines
  • Facilitate community access (e.g. appointments, shopping, social outings)
  • Use grounding, active listening, and encouragement strategies
  • Promote independence and self-confidence
  • Be a consistent, trusted presence in the client's life

You'll Need:

  • Cert III in Individual Support or studies in Nursing, Allied Health, or Social Work
  • Experience with mental health or psychosocial disability
  • First Aid & CPR certifications
  • NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation Module
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Driver's licence (own vehicle preferred)
