About The Role
We are seeking
FinOps Consultants
to join our team and help clients improve how they manage, forecast, and optimise their cloud spend. This role sits at the intersection of finance, procurement, and ICT, with a focus on maximising the business value derived from cloud spend.

Whether your background is in ICT, procurement, finance, business informatics, or data analysis, if you enjoy working with modern technology, data, business processes, uncovering insights, and helping clients make better investment decisions, we want to hear from you. If you don't yet have deep cloud or FinOps experience but bring strong analytical skills and a desire to learn, we can upskill you.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse cloud spend to identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Support forecasting and budgeting for large and complex ICT environments.
• Develop reporting and insights that link cloud costs to business outcomes.
• Work with client stakeholders to improve governance and cost accountability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and frameworks.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience designing and operating cloud FinOps capabilities in alignment with best practice.
• Background in cloud operations or engineering, ICT, procurement, finance, or data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.
• Experience with software asset management or cost forecasting (desirable).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Security Requirements
This role requires Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance. Preference may be given to applicants with an active clearance.
