FinOps Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking a FinOps Consultant with strong experience in large-scale cloud environments to support major migration initiatives. The role focuses on financial analysis and cost management of cloud workloads, including application migrations and project-level financial oversight. You will work closely with technical teams to provide per-application costing, develop financial estimates, and manage the overall financial health of cloud migration projects.

• Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance required

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial estimates and cost modelling for cloud workload migrations.
• Manage and monitor project financials, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Provide per-application costing for migration projects.
• Assess broader migration costs and deliver comprehensive financial insights.
• Collaborate with technical project teams to evaluate application migration requirements.
• Develop cost management strategies for cloud services across multiple platforms.
• Support technical project delivery by aligning financial planning with migration goals.

Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or related financial consulting roles.
• Proven experience in large cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong background in application migration projects, with a financial and technical perspective.
• Expertise in cloud costing, workload migration estimates, and cost optimisation.
• Ability to manage project financials and provide per-app cost breakdowns.
• Familiarity with financial governance for cloud adoption and optimisation.
• NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
