Responsibilities·       Assess existing on -premises SQL database environments to identify migration requirements, constraints, and dependencies.·       Implement migration strategies to Azure SQL (IaaS, PaaS), considering factors such as database size, complexity, performance, and compatibility.·       Plan and execute database migration while minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.·       Configure and optimize Azure SQL (IaaS, PaaS) settings, including resource allocation, security configurations, and high availability features.·       Collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate migration activities and resolve migration -related issues.·       Develop and maintain documentation, including migration plans, procedures, and post -migration configurations.·       Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning techniques to ensure optimal database performance and resource utilization.·       Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure SQL, including access control, encryption, and compliance requirements.·       Implement and maintain database backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data protection and business continuity. Requirements·       Migrate SQL DBs from on -Prem to Azure SQL (VM, MI and DB) via Azure Data Studio and Backup/Restore·       Migrate SSRS/SSAS/SSIS DBs·       Migrate TDE from on -Prem to Azure key vault·       Setup hybrid environment (Apps on Azure, DBs on -Prem)·       Should have worked extensively in setting up AlwaysOn  Availability groups within and across Azure regions·       Migrate Logins, SQL Jobs, Linked Servers·       Configure DB Mail and notifications/alerts·       Experience in Azure Site Recovery for SQL
