About the role

This is a full-time Courier Driver/Delivery Driver position based in Emerald, QLD 4720.

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parcels and freight to businesses and households throughout the local area.

The role is an integral part of Emerald Freight Services' operations, ensuring goods are delivered efficiently to customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Pick up and deliver parcels and freight to customers in the Central Highlands area
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and clean
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  • A current and valid driver's licence (minimum C, MR preferred - training for the right candidate)
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with the local Emerald area and surrounding suburbs
  • A good understanding of safe driving practices and the ability to drive safely
  • A good level of physical fitness, along with the ability to lift and carry parcels is required
  • Ability to lift up to 30kg is required for this position
  • Australian citizenship is essential for this role
