Junior School Teachers

We are seeking two temporary full-time Junior School Teachers, commencing in Term 1, 2026 for the 2026 academic year.

• Teaching within the School Principles, including Responsibility, Independence, Collaboration and Reflection
• Writing, implementing and evaluating teaching programs
• Developing effective assessment and reporting procedures
• Actively participating in the planning of curriculum, writing of programs and scope and sequences
• Developing and using an innovative curriculum on the School's CANVAS Learning Management System
• Using formative and summative assessment to determine student progress
• Creating a stimulating classroom environment where students can flourish
• Submitting reports at a professional standard that demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of each student
• Submitting marking, reports and results in a timely manner and meets deadlines
• Planning and oversight of individual student and group academic needs and progress, including enrichment (extension) and enhancement (support)
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of all students.

• Appropriate tertiary and teaching qualifications
• Accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Experience in a K-6 teaching role, with sound knowledge of the K-6 syllabi
• Demonstrated ability to cater to individual student needs and differentiate the curriculum accordingly
• Ability to implement authentic assessment that informs teaching and learning
• Commitment to facilitating outstanding student results
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and writing skills
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills
• Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities and the broader life of the School
• A strong commitment to student wellbeing
• Firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A current First Aid / CPR certificate and valid Working with Children Clearance (WWCC).
