Workforce Coordination Manager
At Axia Recruitment, we are excited to exclusively partner with Multicap Tasmania in finding a Workforce Coordination Manager to lead their newly established Workforce Coordination Unit. This is more than just a role it's an opportunity to shape the future of workforce management in a thriving organisation that empowers people with disabilities.
Your Journey Begins Here
Its 8:30 AM in Launceston, and you're stepping into a dynamic world where every decision you make has a profound impact. As the new Workforce Coordination Manager, you are the catalyst for change in an organisation that has been a pillar of the Tasmanian community for over 50 years. Youre not just leading and developing a high quality rostering team, you're designing a workforce strategy that ensures the right staff are in the right place at the right time.
In your first few weeks, you'll meet a team that is passionate about making a difference. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work alongside Service Managers and Team Leaders, bringing together the fragmented rostering functions that have historically caused delays and inefficiencies. Together, you will create streamlined processes that reduce overtime, fill shifts on time, and improve staff and client satisfaction.
But this isn't just about rostering.
You'll also use data and insights to forecast staffing needs, drive workforce planning strategies, and mentor a team that is eager to grow. Your leadership will not only optimise staff deployment but will ensure Multicap Tasmania continues to deliver the high-quality, person-centred services its known for.
Every day will bring new challenges. From analysing workforce trends to collaborating across departments, you'll be the driving force behind workforce transformation. And as you lead the team towards greater efficiency and excellence, you'll be reminded that the work you're doing isn't just operational; its life-changing.
What You'll Do:
Lead and optimise the Workforce Coordination Unit
Manage long-term and short-term rostering, ensuring shifts are filled promptly
Use data analytics to forecast staffing needs and optimise resources
Collaborate with Service Managers, Team Leaders, and HR to meet organisational staffing goals
Coach and develop your team to deliver high-performance results
The Skills You Bring:
Proven leadership in workforce planning and rostering management
Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI)
Experience in mentoring and developing teams
Ability to drive change and foster collaboration across departments
A passion for making a meaningful impact
Are you ready to lead the way?
If you're looking to take on a leadership role that truly makes a difference, we want to hear from you.
