  • Got a background in facilitation or education and looking to transfer your skills into something more fulfilling?
  • Interested in delivering workshops that enable participants to live healthier, more fulfilling lives for themselves and those they meet in life?
  • Got a knack for business development and building relationships with schools, community and partner organisations?
  • Got the freedom, flexibility and passion for being on the road?

We're looking for a charismatic and highly-relatable facilitator, who can step into a room and instantly connect with our audience, which is predominantly young men in high school. You need a knack for connecting with and managing a range of energy types. Importantly, you must have the ability to create and hold safe and engaging spaces where participants feel comfortable opening up and sharing.

We have a three-month intensive induction to get you skilled in our content and style of facilitation (which we see as our special sauce) before you start to fly solo. We want to be upfront, our work can be confronting and emotionally challenging. We have internal supports to ensure the safety and well-being of our team (including training, group supervision and access to therapy and coaching) however, it's absolutely critical that applicants have a well-established routine regarding self-management and mental wellness.

We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment. We value different lived experiences and perspectives and therefore encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.

ABOUT US

When we set out on the Tomorrow Woman & Tomorrow Man (TW TM) journey 9 years ago, none of us expected things to be where they are today We work in secondary schools, sports clubs and communities around Australia, supporting:

  • Girls & women to ignite their voices, giving them tools to challenge the narrow expectations placed on them so they can live fuller and bolder lives, and;
  • Boys & men to build their emotional muscle, talk with gravity and challenge outdated stereotypes by having the courage to be vulnerable

Our mission has always been to create engaging environments for young people from all walks of life, to challenge what it is to be a man or a woman in today's world. We seek out and embody an aspirational, modern alternative to push back on stereotypes, expectations and pressure, and create a more flexible version of tomorrow's man/woman that resonates and speaks to the mainstream, while giving people the tools to decide on the person they want to be.

We've taken the same approach to building our organisation, challenging norms in service of creating a deliberately developmental environment - one that leverages our spikes and allows space to grow on our edges. After all, who are we to ask our participants to grow if not willing to ask the same of ourselves.

And so here we are, a learning & development based social enterprise that's grown substantially against all measures - team size, national footprint, workshop output and participant & community impact. This year we will deliver 2,000+ workshops and have impacted over 180,000 people since inception. While we know there's so much more we can do, we're proud of what we've created and we think you will be too.

IDEALLY YOU HAVE

  • Experience facilitating groups of all sizes, preferably with youth
  • Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders particularly in schools and community organisations
  • Some experience in business development
  • Drivers License
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Proficiency in G Suite including Gmail, Google drive and Google calendar
  • Proficiency in CRM databases - with knowledge in Hubspot being a bonus

TRAVEL

This role involves regular travel across both metropolitan and regional areas, and occasionally interstate. It will often require you to be away from home for consecutive nights. For this reason, you should ideally be based in the Melbourne metro area and must own a vehicle.

BENEFITS

  • Bonus Leave - 1 extra week of leave per year
  • Uprise - access to wellbeing, coaching and therapy sessions and content
  • Collective Weeks - twice per year we bring our national team to Melbourne for a week of connection, dreaming, growth & celebration
