The Opportunity

As Barton's continues to grow in 2025, we're on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our award-winning team. This is your chance to become part of an industry-leading Parts Department and support our internal workshops, retail and wholesale parts sales, and valued customer base.

You'll play a key role in delivering the premium service our customers have come to expect, helping us continue to create "Customers for Life."

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Source and supply automotive parts for our Service Department
  • Manage back-orders and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Provide expert parts interpretation for a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Pick and pack service orders efficiently
  • Assist with wholesale and retail counter sales, as well as phone enquiries
  • Process invoicing and perform stock control duties
  • Maintain a clean, organized parts environment
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and other departments

What We're Looking For:

Prior experience in a Parts Interpreter role

Knowledge of Pentana ERA (highly regarded)

Strong multitasking and time management abilities

Top-tier communication and customer service skills

A proactive team player who can also work independently

Detail-oriented with a passion for automotive
