Mr Spriggins Café, a bustling, casual eatery which caters for appetites big and small. Providing the fuel for families to make the most of our unique playground experience in a vibrant and fun atmosphere.

We are seeking a qualified passionate casual chef to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:

-The ability to work cohesively in a small team

-Manage time through effective planning to maintain a high level of productivity

-The ability to work in a fast paced environment

-Strong communication skills

-Motivate team members through positive behaviour

-High standards of food presentation, cleanliness, punctuality and organisation

-Participate in and reinforce the organisation of food cost controlling and waste management of food.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Cert III in Commercial Cookery or higher.

Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Understanding of industry standard hygiene practices

-Australian work rights are essential for this position

To be successful in this role, you will be available to work across a seven day roster, and some evenings as per our business demands. No late nights and no split shifts required
