· Network Service Delivery Management:

· Oversee the delivery of network services to clients, ensuring adherence to SLAs, timelines, and quality standards.

· Manage the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices including:

- BGP

- OSPF

- EIGRP

- Spanning Tree

- Cisco Wireless

- 802.1x

- Cisco ISE

- Firewalls (Palo Alto & Cisco)

- WAN Optimizers (Riverbed)

· Ensure the network services are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.

· Coordinate service requests, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to network performance.

· Client Relationship and Account Management:

· Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding network service delivery and issues.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and service delivery is aligned with their business goals.

· Manage escalations from clients related to network performance, outages, and service issues.

· Ensure proactive communication with clients about network changes, updates, and planned maintenance.

· Team Leadership and Coordination:

· Lead and manage a team of network engineers and support personnel, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and alignment with service delivery objectives.

· Provide guidance, training, and performance management for the network service delivery team.

· Ensure resources are appropriately allocated to meet network service delivery goals.

· Incident and Problem Management:

· Oversee the incident management process, ensuring network issues and outages are addressed promptly and effectively.

· Analyse network-related incidents and problems to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

· Coordinate with other technical teams (security, server, cloud) to resolve cross-functional issues that impact network service delivery.

· Service Improvement and Optimization:

· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in network performance, efficiency, and reliability.

· Lead initiatives to optimize network infrastructure, reduce downtime, and improve service delivery capabilities.

· Ensure the application of best practices for network design, monitoring, and incident management.

· Performance and Reporting:

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs related to network service delivery.

· Prepare and present regular service delivery reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders, highlighting performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.

· Track and report on network availability, utilization, and capacity.

· Network Design and Implementation Support:

· Collaborate with network architects and engineers to support the design and implementation of new network solutions.

· Assist with the deployment and integration of new network technologies or upgrades to meet client requirements.

· Budget and Resource Management:

· Oversee the budget for network service delivery, ensuring that services are delivered cost-effectively and within budget.

· Manage procurement and resource allocation for network service delivery activities, including hardware, software, and personnel as applicable.

· Compliance and Security:

· Ensure network services comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

· Promote network security best practices and ensure that all network configurations and activities are secured against potential threats.

· Change Management:

· Lead the change management process for network-related changes, ensuring minimal disruption to services and clients.

· Review and approve network configuration changes, software upgrades, and patches to ensure they align with service delivery objectives.
