About the Role

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience as a Commercial Plumber in the Building and Construction industry. Our Building and Construction customer stream delivers commercial and industrial building, fit outs and maintenance projects. Our Commercial Building team handles projects ranging from $1m - $30m.

This role involves a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

• Underground and suspended sanitary drainage
• Hot and cold reticulation systems
• Back flow installation and servicing
• Copper welding
• Stormwater – above and underground
• 1st and 2nd fix
• Other general commercial plumbing tasks

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the commercial plumbing team to ensure compliance with customer and McMahon Services processes
• Read, interpret and communicate plans effectively
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and compliance requirements
• Maintain a strong commitment to WHS and environmental standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, project teams, management, suppliers and subcontractors

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a licensed plumber
• Solid background in commercial plumbing
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive with a problem-solving mindset and innovative approach
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team, and able to follow instructions
• Current driver's licence and construction white card
• Own standard trade tools (specialty tools provided by the company)
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening, as well as a fit-for-work assessment
• Eligible to obtain DCSI and Defence clearances
• Australian citizen with no work restrictions
• Willing to travel to regional construction sites across South Australia (LAFHA provided for travel).
• Open to interstate travel
