The OpportunityKey Responsibilities
  • Leading the planning, assessment, and execution of new connection requests, ensuring alignment with engineering standards, regulatory requirements and internal processes
  • Interacting with the Pilbara Independent System Operator (ISO) and regional regulators, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, guidelines and network rules
  • Providing commercial oversight of the Pilbara Network Access Code (PNAC) and Pilbara Network Rules (PNR), ensuring cost recovery, fair pricing structures, and economic feasibility of new connections
  • Coordinating the technical due diligence associated with new connections with the Engineering Lead
  • Collaborating with internal development, engineering, planning, and commercial teams to deliver efficient and technically sound connection
  • Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, government departments whilst acting as a key point of contact for customers, facilitating smooth engagement and clear communication throughout the connection process
Your background
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as Law, Commerce or Engineering)
  • Extensive commercial experience in a similar role within the renewables or power generation sector
  • High levels of contract management and negotiation experience
  • Proven experience managing network access within the power generation sector and familiarity with the Pilbara regulatory framework
  • Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with strong attention to detail
