About the Role
  • Assisting in performing aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved data and under the guidance of licensed engineers and in line with company procedures
  • Reporting any significant aircraft defects to the supervising LAME
  • Participating in business improvement initiatives by contributing suggestions or supporting implementation as directed
  • Organising and completing assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and under LAME supervision
  • Applying developing technical knowledge to assist LAMEs with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or electrical issues
  • Working efficiently within the maintenance team, following directions from senior technicians and LAMEs in a careful manner
  • Assisting LAMEs and senior technicians with investigations of aircraft incidents or maintenance issues, contributing to implementing corrective actions where appropriate
  • At all times, following the instructions and safety guidelines provided by LAMEs and supervisors
  • Attending regularly scheduled training sessions to become familiar with internal procedures and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in Mechanical in a Line or Base Maintenance environment
