About the role

We're seeking an experienced and strategic procurement professional to join us in a pivotal role as Associate Director Procurement.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead DNSW's procurement function and play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of procurement outcomes across Destination NSW.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic procurement policies, frameworks and systems.
  • Manage complex tenders, contracts and high value negotiations.
  • Provide expert procurement advice to executive leaders and stakeholders.
  • Drive value for money outcomes while ensuring compliance with NSW Government procurement policies.
  • Support innovative and efficient sourcing strategies to meet evolving business needs.

About You

We're after a collaborative and solutions focused leader with:

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing end to end procurement functions in a complex environment.
  • Strong contract management and risk mitigation skills.
  • High level stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework is highly desirable.
