as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and competent
NV1, Network Engineer / Architect
to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers.

About You
:

  • 8 - 10 years + relevant experience preferably in a network security vendor.
  • 5+ Years' experience in LAN/WAN /Internet Support or Administration.
  • 3+ Years' experience with Network Security Products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the security threat landscape.
  • Administrator level working knowledge of Windows, UNIX or Linux.
  • Previous Technical support position (other PS or TAC position), or Sales Engineering background advantageous.
  • External network security & vendor certifications such as Cisco, F5, Juniper, AWS area plus.

About the Role:

Maintain expert-level technical knowledge in the following technology disciplines:

  • Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, SD-WAN, Proxies
  • Firewalls, UTM, APT (Sandboxing), Application Control & Content Filtering,
  • Web Proxying, SLB, Cryptology
  • VPN technologies (SSL VPN/IPSEC VPN) & associated topologies
  • Web Application Firewalling
  • Centralized Logging and Reporting solution
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Provide technical mentoring, training, and coaching to other members.
  • Assists in the deployment, configuration, cut-over, testing and troubleshooting of security solutions in customer environments.
