The Role:

Reporting to the Business Innovation Manager, the Innovation Project Manager will help bring The OTR Group's most exciting ideas to life. This role is all about accelerating innovation projects, from concept to market - ensuring they are delivered with speed, quality, and impact to enhance our customer experience.

Responsibilities:

As Innovation Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of shaping The OTR Groups future offer, turning bold ideas into real-world successes. You'll help identify, design, and test new products, services, and in-store experiences that set us apart in convenience, food service, and retail. From spotting emerging trends and sourcing the right partners, to running high-impact trials and rolling out winning concepts at scale, you'll ensure every innovation delivers value to our customers, our teams, and the business.

You Will Provide:

• End-to-end project management of innovation trials, ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Collaboration with suppliers, category teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring new ideas to life.
• Engagement with central and site operations to ensure teams are trained, informed, and equipped for trial execution.
• Tracking and reporting on trial outcomes, providing feedback and post-implementation reviews.
• Commercial input, including feasibility assessments, supplier negotiations, and success factor setting.
• Agility in adapting trial plans based on early results, and speed to scale successful initiatives.
• Clear exit strategies for unsuccessful trials, with insights on lessons learned.

About You:

• Proven project management skills, with strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Agility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercial acumen with experience in supplier negotiations and feasibility assessments.
• Cross-functional leadership experience.
• Experience in convenience retail and QSR environments, including store operations, customer experience, and operational efficiency across forecourt, in-store, and food service formats.
