We're seeking an experienced IT Team Leader to guide a small team of Level 2 IT professionals in Sydney providing a combination of face to face and remote IT support to users. Working from their Macquarie Park office, this leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about service management, team development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6 Level 2 IT Support professionals
  • Manage the team's performance to meet agreed service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, ensuring timely and professional resolution
  • Engage regularly with business leaders, Heads of Corporate Services and Operations, and end users to understand and respond to service needs
  • Maintain high standards of service documentation, reporting, and communication

About you:

  • 3+ years' experience leading or supervising IT support teams
  • Strong technical background in Level 2 support and hands-on troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes with experience using service management tools
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 and general desktop support environments
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Calm, organised, and focused under pressure with a service-first approach
  • Experienced in mentoring and developing team capability
