Join QTC as a Project Manager and you will be part of a PMO team that is passionate about leading and delivering strategic projects. In this 12-month maximum term role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver impactful organisational and/or technology projects. The role requires a person who is a great team player, comfortable working across multiple projects, creative, driven and a problem solver. You will bring a strong proven project delivery experience, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of solutions aligned with business goals.
What you'll do:
- Lead and oversee the successful delivery of a comprehensive corporate branding and external website redesign project for QTC.
- Lead the One QTC Way for Change Project focussed on leading a review of QTC's needs for Portfolio, Program and Project Management tooling, selecting and implementing appropriate platforms, and ensuring the successful transition to and adoption of the chosen platform and practices that support the delivery of change at QTC.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor and track project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, policies, and best practices.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate challenges as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support to project team members including outsourced delivery partners
What you bring:
- Proven experience in successfully delivering business and technology projects, including web development and branding projects.
- Experience in delivering portfolio or project management tools is desirable.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and management at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strategic, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
- The ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of portfolio and project management tools.
- Relevant qualifications, including:
- A tertiary qualification in information technology, business management, or a related discipline.
- Project management certifications (essential).
- Postgraduate qualifications in project management or information technology (desirable).
