Hi, I'm Simon Neill, owner of Greg Neill and Son Jewellers. Since 1984, our family-owned business has been built on genuine relationships, exceptional craftsmanship, and a deep commitment to personalised service. Whether it's a ready-to-wear piece or a custom-designed engagement ring, we take pride in creating jewellery that marks life's most meaningful moments, all made here in Australia with care and precision. For us, it's about the people we meet, the stories they share, and the trust they place in us to bring their vision to life. And as we continue to enjoy demand for our amazing jewellery the time has come for us to add a casual Sales Assistant to our team.

Who are you?

Well, firstly, if people generally describe you as:

  • Customer-focussed - you have the ability to think from the customer's perspective and provide a positive customer experience;
  • Goal driven - you love winning (gracefully);
  • A natural socialiser... you engage others in conversation with ease - but stay focused on the main thing;
  • A 'tap dancer'... you know when and how to be 'creative in the moment' to secure a sale;
  • A lifelong learner - you're willing to learn new knowledge and skills;
  • Action-oriented. Decisive.
  • A client-advocate - who isn't misled by the BS prospects put out there;
  • Somewhat of a natural leader - you will happily own the sales function;

Additionally, you'll have 2 years experience in B2C sales, with bonus points if you love diamonds and have sold jewellery

The role?

In simple terms you'll be helping make dreams come true. You'll be meeting people who are looking for something special. So, you'll be getting an understanding of what 'special' means, presenting and showcasing product, surprising and delighting with your exceptional customer service, and closing sales. Of course there will be sales admin and CRM entry to complete and you'll be following up leads... all with a sense of style and sophistication, in our amazing show room.
